Amazons vs Abuse Recap
Rasheed decisive in close win
The AP Reports- In a close game in Atlanta, the Abuse won their third game and let the Amazons still winless this season. The Amazons, alog with the Legends are the only teams in the FBF without a win, both are from the toughest division in the league.
The game began close with Cassell and Francis trading baskets. Arroyo couldn't do much to stop Cassell and the experienced Atlanta PG just slow down when Francis, in one of his best games this year, began to guard him. Arroyo then guarded Manu Ginobili, who was in a quiet night, scoring just 8 points and leaving the court with a back injury.
"I was not playing well tonight and I was not feeling my back before the game. I just want to forget this night, luckly we got a Win" said Ginobili after the game, he was replaced by young guard Delonte West, who will probably start next Abuse game.
In the well played 4th period the Abuse used from experienced center Rasheed Wallace to get the win. In back-to-back three pointers and a key block on Troy Murphy he guaranSheed the win. "The team needs me especially when Manu and Matt are not scoring that much" said Rasheed.
Troy Murphy who picked just 3 rebounds didnt say anything after the game, clearly dissapointed with his performance in the game. Rumors say that GM Danilo Silvestre was in the locker room before the game to tell the players to began to play well that they were going to be traded if they dont want to stay there.
"Yeah, I just got here but I can tell that there is not a good atmosphere here" said guard Carlos Arroyo. "Everyone wants to win but for what I saw today some wants ot win to get large contracts, thats sad."
"If there is going to be a rebuild I want to stay here and participate" said center Nazr Mohammed. "They got me when nobody wanted me, I must be here in Brazil and take this team to the playoffs".
The hot game and the bad atmosphere was felt by the Atlanta players. "I dont wish all that stuff to nobody" said Matt Harpring.
From the GM with Love
Hey Amazons fans, here is Danilo, your great, handsome, smart and sexy General Manager. I'm here to tell that the Amazons are going to change some things.
We're going to change our mentality and seek for another ways to start winning. Since we entered the League we tried to make a winning team with guys that were not wanted in another teams, we were going to be their mamma, their home, in Brazil they would gain respect and games.
So we pick good guys in bad moments. Bonzi Wells and Desmond Mason we pick up for almost nothing, Mohammed for a bad second round pick and Francis for the awsome-but-to-old-to-be-traded Ray Allen.
They were thankful in the beggining but than decided to slow down, not practice, they began to not care about losing cause the Amazons were a losing team. I think I lost the control of the team when I traded my good friend Sam Cassell, he was a leader, with him in the team the guys were good, Wells was making 25pts, grabbing 8rebs and all that stuff. Now they seem to want to leave so the Amazons is obligate to abandon their way of think, picking not old but not young good guys to enter in a new era, the cliche era, where all I want is young guys and draft picks.
This letter to fans were read in the locker room right before the Amazons-Abuse game. The Amazons lost 106-102, but were the best game of the year so far, now the guys want to win to move back to US, Europe and all those rich countries, play for titles and the Amazons want their young fellows. So all General Managers in the FBF, just wait for your favorite Amazos start to play well again and make your trade proposals, I'll be waiting.
Thanks!
Danilo

Hey guys, I'm back after a while without good ideas.
I'll do, like everybody likes to do, a previwe for the coming season, but I'll wait till the trades and waivers of this week. When everybody be in the cap I'll do my preview.
Today I'm going to list the top 5 winners of the FBF Draft.
1. Spoilers - The team already has Kobe, Pierce and Dirk they just needed a PG and they picked the best of the summer leagues and probably a true candidate for ROY. They need a center now, thank god Oden will not be at Spoiler's spot next year.
Picking Garbajosa in the 2nd round was terrific too.
2. Fusion - The champs didnt needed anyone to win another fantasy ring, but they now have the NCAA leading scorer and a ROY candidate. Why is he in my division anyway?
3. Rebels - Jackie Butler in the 2nd round. Good choice in a poor draft especially in the 2nd round. Sergio Rodriguez also was a good pick, the kid is good.
4. LA Rush - Brandon Roy, Brewer and Anthony Parker. The Euroleague MVP in the 2nd round and Roy (ROY?) makes Rush a strong team.
5. Waves - Picked Carney when the draft was starting to be withou good players. Than traded him for Brad Miller. He drafted a starter C in the 11th pick. Nice!
The best pick:
Ducks - The Ducks made the funniest pick of the draft picking Balkman at the last pick of the 2nd round, he could taked Balkman right before but he didnt to show Isiah how the draft works.
13th pick = Bad luck
Amazons - All I wanted was Marcus Williams.

The AP reports:
Brazil Amazons GM Danilo Silvestre said on a interview yesterday that theres a lot of trade proposals for the now valuable swingman John Salmons. "He is a terrific player. Solid, play both SF and SG position and now he has more space to develop"
John Salmons is expected to be one of the great surprises of this season but his numbers wont tell how he develops if he stay behind Wells and Desmond Mason in Brazil.
Danilo said that he is just waiting for the right deal. "I think we need draft picks, young players and some backups." Danilo said that Giricek is in the trading block as well. "He wasnt happy last season, he wanted to stay with the Ducks. This things happen, now we're trading him and not asking for much, just wish the best for Gordan"
Joking with the reporters in the final of the interview, Danilo said the team e-mail. "Hey guys, its brazil.amazons@gmail.com, just send any proposals, including wives"
He laughed after that but now he can just wait for spam e-mails from all over the world.

Dream is over?
Some insiders are telling that Dust Devils'GM Dave Luer said no to the Amazons. The Tweed Report said that T-Mac is going to a team that almost got the championship ring las season.
Any bets?
About this rumors the Amazons GM Danilo Silvestre said that "it would be great to have T-Mac with us but I'm not worried about that, you guys just make too much noise about every single proposal. We're happy with our team and now we're just watching the summer leagues to decide our draft pick"
Blog Editor comments:
Danilo is right, other teams have a lot more to offer for T-Mac, too much noise and nothing in the end again for the team from the south.

Rumors
McGRADY TO AMAZONS?

It seems that the FBF 04-05 champion El Dorado Dust Devils is trading one of their best players, Tracy McGrady. McGrady is one of the best players in the league but its facing personal problems, injuries and now a problem in his team. He said in an interview last week that sometimes he thinks that he's no longer needed in a team where Dwyane Wade and Shawn Marion get the major part of minutes at the SG and SF spot. "Maybe its time for a rebirth in my life, change my professional and personal life in just one move" said McGrady.
Several teams requested the Dust Devils GM Dave Luer about McGrady, but he said that he will look for teams that can fill the PG and PF spots in his team. Appereantly the Amazons got a good start by offering Francis and some big man for McGrady, sources tell that can be Nazr Mohammed, Chris Mihm or even the bust Rafael Araujo because the Devils are with cap problems with the Dwyane Wade contract extendsion.
